Pre-MVP · In development

Your writing can travel further than the language you write in.

FolioLoom is a translation workbench in development for authors bringing books, manuscripts and long-form writing to readers in languages they don't speak.

For authors and their writing Built deliberately, before public launch.

A translation draft is more useful when the author can stay close to the decisions.

Long-form work asks for more than a one-off translation request. An author may not read the target language, but should still be able to guide source meaning, context and terminology before a draft is handed off for review.

We are building a calm workspace to help authors bring their knowledge of the text into the translation process, from context and terminology to a draft for human review.

From your manuscript to a draft ready for review.

These six screens are design prototypes showing the workflow we are exploring. They do not represent a finished product. The screens and workflow may change as development progresses.

01 · Project Library

A calm home for a book, its documents and its decisions.

Your knowledge of the text belongs in the process.

01

Context stays visible

We're designing a workspace that keeps your document, its context and your choices together.

02

Terminology is deliberate

We want authors to be able to explain names, recurring terms and the meaning that matters to their work.

03

A draft for human review

The workflow is being designed around an AI-assisted draft that a reader of the target language can review.

In development, with authors in mind.
